Books I Want SO Badly I Could Pee (10)

While lurking on Amazon and Goodreads, I come across so many books that I want SO badly I could pee. These are what I like to call my Pee-Inducing Books, or Urine-Triggering Novels. Below is my current list. Please peruse it while I go get a new pair of pants.

Haven Terra is a brainy, shy high school outcast. But everything begins to change when she turns sixteen. Along with her best friend Dante and their quiet and brilliant classmate Lance, she is awarded a prestigious internship in the big city— Chicago—and is sent to live and work at a swanky and stylish hotel under the watchful eyes of a group of gorgeous and shockingly young-looking strangers: powerful and alluring hotel owner Aurelia Brown; her second-in-command, the dashing Lucian Grove; and their stunning but aloof staff of glamazons called The Outfit.

As Haven begins falling for Lucian, she discovers that these beautiful people are not quite what they seem. With the help of a mysterious book, she uncovers a network of secret passageways from the hotel’s jazz-age past that leads her to the heart of the evil agenda of Aurelia and company: they’re in the business of buying souls. Will they succeed in wooing Haven to join them in their recruitment efforts, or will she be able to thwart this devilish set’s plans to take the souls of her classmates on prom night at the hotel?
• I WANT THIS ONE SOOO BADLY! I'm not entirely sure what it's about, but with a cover like that, does it really matter? Lol. •

There isn't an official summary for this, so I guess I'll just put why I want it in here. I read Sirenz, the first book before this one, a few months ago and loved it. It was such a cute book, and I'm really looking forward to the sequel. HADES IS HAUTE! ;)
No summary again. This is the sequel to Savor by Megan Duncan, which I recently read and loved! I'm dying to read the sequel and find out what happens with Claire!
Another no summary, and yet another sequel. This one is also by Megan Duncan, and it's a great post-apocalyptic series full of scary as hell demons. I want to read it very much!
Stubborn, sixteen-year-old Princess Venus of Kelari wants one thing, to become a kelvieri, that is, until someone exiles her to Earth, kills her irrihunter and takes her family.

Now she wants revenge.

First she’s got to get home. But before she can return to Kelari, the Gods have commanded her to help an arrogant boy named Michael find his soul mate. Only she doesn't know the first thing about love.

Rather quickly, her inexperience with human emotion is obscured by other matters—alien-controlled psychotic teens that are out to kill her, and a government group that is set on capturing and dissecting her.

Worst of all, Venus will suffer a painful death-by-poisoning, thanks to Earth’s atmosphere, if she remains on the planet longer than one week. Still, Venus is a Princess and she's got a plan. Surely, with her help, Michael will fall in love with a human.

But time is running out and Michael is falling for the wrong girl—her.
• I saw this one on Goodreads while just skimming for new books to read, and BAM, I saw this cover and my jaw just dropped. WANT WANT WANT. Plus, I've definitely been wanting to read some more great sci-fi. •

Everything is in ruins.

A devastating plague has decimated the population. And those who are left live in fear of catching it as the city crumbles to pieces around them.

So what does Araby Worth have to live for?

Nights in the Debauchery Club, beautiful dresses, glittery make-up . . . and tantalizing ways to forget it all.

But in the depths of the club—in the depths of her own despair—Araby will find more than oblivion. She will find Will, the terribly handsome proprietor of the club. And Elliott, the wickedly smart aristocrat. Neither boy is what he seems. Both have secrets. Everyone does.

And Araby may find something not just to live for, but to fight for—no matter what it costs her.
• Do I even need to explain why I want this? No, I didn't think so. •

Forbidden love, intoxicating power, and the terror of control…

Raine has always been a good girl. She lives by the rules in Freedom. After all, they are her father’s rules: He’s the Director. It’s because of him that Raine is willing to use her talent—a power so dangerous, no one else is allowed to know about it. Not even her roommate, Vi.

All of that changes when Raine falls for Gunner. Raine’s got every reason in the world to stay away from Gunn, but she just can’t. Especially when she discovers his connection to Vi’s boyfriend, Zenn. Raine has never known anyone as heavily brainwashed as Vi. Raine’s father expects her to spy on Vi and report back to him. But Raine is beginning to wonder what Vi knows that her father is so anxious to keep hidden, and what might happen if she helps Vi remember it. She’s even starting to suspect Vi’s secrets might involve Freedom’s newest prisoner, the rebel Jag Barque...
• Possession killed me, it KILLED me with that ending! I know this isn't an exact sequel, more of a companion novel, but it includes Vi and Jag, and I need to know what happens to them! •

What happens when you are stalked by Death? You fall in
love with him, of course. Pagan Moore doesn’t cheat Death, but instead, falls in love with him.

Seventeen year old, Pagan Moore, has seen souls her entire life. Once she realized the strangers, she often saw walking through walls, were not visible to anyone else, she started ignoring them. If she didn’t let them know she could see them, then they left her alone. Until she steps out of her car, the first day of school and sees an incredibly sexy guy lounging on a picnic table, watching her with an amused smirk on his face. Problem is she knows he's dead. Not only does he not go away, when she ignores him, but he does something none of the others have ever done, he speaks. Pagan is fascinated by the soul. What Pagan doesn’t realize is that her appointed time to die is drawing near and the wickedly beautiful soul, she is falling in love with, is not a soul. He is Death and he is about to break all the rules.
• Just saw this one on Goodreads, and was immediately caught by the cover. Falling in love with Death? Totally awesome! •

It isn’t easy being the rather overlooked and unhappy youngest sibling to sisters named for the other six days of the week. Sunday’s only comfort is writing stories, although what she writes has a terrible tendency to come true.
When Sunday meets an enchanted frog who asks about her stories, the two become friends. Soon that friendship deepens into something magical. One night Sunday kisses her frog goodbye and leaves, not realizing that her love has transformed him back into Rumbold, the crown prince of Arilland—and a man Sunday’s family despises.

The prince returns to his castle, intent on making Sunday fall in love with him as the man he is, not the frog he was. But Sunday is not so easy to woo. How can she feel such a strange, strong attraction for this prince she barely knows? And what twisted secrets lie hidden in his past—and hers?
• Don't know what it's about, but THAT DRESS IS GORGEOUS! Lol, I want it on my shelves! •

  1. All these books have such beautiful covers! I would probably pick them up based on that, although of course the story would play a final factor in my decision whether or not to read them. :)
