While riding in the car today, I had a massive revelation regarding Clockwork Angel and the Infernal Devices series, and I didn't have anyone else but you guys to share it with.
I was thinking about the entire series as a whole, and I was musing to myself "Wow, Jace and Will are related. Lol, Will is Jace's great-great-great-great-great grandfather (or some such relation)."... AND THEN IT HIT ME.
If Will has a great (etc) grandson..... and Tessa, if she is a warlock, can't have children.... THEN TESSA DOESN'T END UP WITH WILL.
Just something to think about.

Oh my God! I never thought of that! I haven't read the Clockwork Angel but I know the characters and the story pretty much.... Does Will have any siblings? Or maybe Jace came from another person in Will's family? Again I haven't read Clockwork Angel so.... But good point!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I can't believe i didn't think of that. Of course, there's always the possibility Tessa *can* have kids...or that Jace isn't Will's direct descendant.
ReplyDeleteon a slightly different note, but still relating to families: you know how weird it is that Alec and Will have the same hair and eyes? well remember how Gabe told Will to stay way from his sister? i think Will gets this Lightwood girl pregnant and that's how his traits get into the family. Possible?
