Top 10: YA Boys

YA boys are some of the hottest around. I've compiled a list of my current favorites. This list was definitely not easy to make, and I had to switch names around a few times, but here it is.

Rated for HOTNESS

10. Sinclair Youngblood Powers, AKA Sin from Swoon by Nina Malkin
All throughout reading Swoon, Sin was such an anchor for interest and a total hottie. He was sorta batshit crazy and definitely had a murderous streak, but, y'know... he's sexy, so it's all good. Also, how knee-melting is the name 'Sinclair Youngblood Powers'???? *swoons*
9. Sonny from Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston
Sonny is extremely sweet and romantic, but he's also a skilled fighter. These things put together make him perfect crush material, and I admit I loved him from the start. I'll take Kelley's place any day!
8. Lucas from Born at Midnight by C.C. Hunter
Born at Midnight hasn't been released yet (it comes out March 29th), but I know when it's available for purchase, there will be hundreds of girls just like me fawning over Lucas. I admit, Lucas has some stark competition in Derek, his rival, but Lucas wins by a hairsbreadth. He has an air of danger and confidence about him. Team Lucas all the way!
7. Will from Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton
What can I say about Will? He was funny and charming, strong yet weak, charismatic and distant, all at once. He shone brightly in Angelfire, guarding Ellie with everything he had, and it made me want him as my guardian. Courtney, I can haz Will, yes?
6. Shane from Glass Houses by Rachel Caine
Shane is honestly my favorite character in the Morganville Vampires series. He's witty and sarcastic, and adorably protective of Claire and his friends. I honestly wish I had him as my real life boyfriend, because he's so... real. Rachel, I can haz Shane too?
5. Beck from The Demon Trapper's Daughter by Jana Oliver
Beck is the guy that got me hooked on Southern accents. Seriously. He's a badass, and even though at first the way he talked annoyed me, I got used to it, and now I LOOOOVVE it. I can't wait for the sequel, just for more Beck!
4. Lucifer Cain, AKA Luc from Personal Demons by Lisa Desrochers
What the hell is hotter than a demon? (Pun totally intended.) Luc is my kind of guy. I'm a sucker for bad boys, which is why most of the boys on this list are absolutely NOT on Santa's nice list. Luc is the ultimate bad boy, although he slowly becomes something else. But he doesn't lose any of his badass charm and magnetism. I fell hard for him.
3. Renier Laroche, AKA Ren from Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
OMGOBLINS. REN. In my opinion, Shay doesn't stand a chance against Ren. Again, this is a case of Bad Boy syndrome, in which I pick the one who is more "dark and dangerous", but Ren does have a very sweet side to him that I loved reading about. Can't wait to read Wolfsbane, just for him.

2. Will from Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
While I did think Will was a massive jerk-off who needed to be slapped properly, I still couldn't help but love him. He has that sardonic and sinister sense of humor that you're not sure whether you should be laughing or horrified. Plus, he reads a lot!
1. Jace from City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Just one word: JACE.

  1. Great list! A lot of these boys I haven't had the chance to meet yet but most of them are sitting on my tbr shelf so I will soon! I liked Ren better than Shay but I'd argue that it's actually Shay who is the mysterious one. Calla knew Ren like the back of her own hand-- they grew up together. Shay had the mysterious boy thing gone on. Ren had the sexy bad boy thing though.

    I also loved Beck!

  10. I just finished Born at Midnight over the weekend and I'm still torn between Derek and Lucas! I'm with you on Beck also, he was the only reason I even finished The Demon Trapper's Daughter and he might be the only reason I would pick up the second book.
